Looking for cabin sheds and porch models for sale in Texas? Our cabin and porch models add a covered front or side porch to a portable building, giving you a shaded place to sit outside and a finished-looking cabin you can use as a weekend place, hunting cabin, or backyard room. We deliver them from our Corinth sales lot and Corsicana yard.

What a cabin model includes
A cabin model is a portable building with a porch built in: floor, framed walls, roof, siding, doors, and windows, with the porch under the same roof. Most owners buy them as shells and finish the inside their own way. If you plan to finish the inside, see our tiny home shells page for what to plan first.
- Porch styles: front porches and side porches, depending on the model.
- Roof styles: a gable roofline or a lofted barn roofline with overhead loft space.
- Finish options: 12 colors, 9-lite or solid doors, and 2×3 or 3×3 windows.

How owners use cabins
- Weekend and lake cabins: around Cedar Creek Lake in Mabank, Gun Barrel City, Seven Points, Malakoff.
- Hunting cabins: on family land in the post oak country around Fairfield, Kerens, Decatur, Mexia.
- Backyard rooms: a studio, office, or guest space with a porch to sit on.

Choosing a size
Cabins are built on our larger footprints, where there’s room for the porch and the space inside. Our shed sizes guide lists every size by style. Tape out the inside and the porch at full size before you choose.

Colors, doors, and windows
Every building comes in 12 colors: Olive Green, Navy Blue, Light Stone, Mahogany, Black, Brown, Charcoal, White, Gray, Barn Red, Sandstone, Burnished Slate. Door options include 36″ solid and 9-lite doors in black or white, and window options include 2×3, 3×3, and 5-lite transom windows. Custom workbenches and shelving can be built in to fit how you’ll use the space.
Built to last
Our brochure lists a 7-year craftsmanship warranty, a 30-year metal warranty, and a 50-year siding warranty. Ask for the warranty details with your quote.
Finishing and using a cabin
If you plan to add electricity, plumbing, heating, or air conditioning, or to sleep in the building, permits and inspections usually apply, and the rules differ by city, county, and neighborhood. Hire licensed professionals for electrical and plumbing work, and check with your city or county before you buy.
Delivery, setup, and paying for it
Delivery and setup are included up to 50 miles from our Corinth sales lot or Corsicana yard; farther out, delivery is quoted with your building. Before delivery day, walk the route with our delivery checklist so the truck can reach a level spot.
Buy outright or pay monthly: rent-to-own has no credit check and 36- to 72-month terms, with the terms in writing before you sign.
Check local rules first
Many cities, counties, and HOAs have size limits, setbacks, or permit thresholds for backyard buildings, and the rules change from town to town. Check with your city or county before you buy. Our town pages summarize what each city publishes and link to its official office.
Cabin questions
Is a cabin model finished inside?
Cabin models are sold as shells: finished outside, unfinished inside, so you can insulate and finish them the way you’ll use them.
Can I get a cabin with a loft?
Yes. A lofted barn roofline adds overhead loft space to a cabin model.
Can I live in a cabin?
That depends on your city, county, and HOA, which set the rules for living space. Check with them before you buy.
