Searching for tiny home shells for sale in Texas? A shell gives you a finished building outside and a blank canvas inside. Owners finish our shells as tiny homes, guest cabins, offices, and weekend places, in sizes up to 16×40. We deliver from our Corinth sales lot and Corsicana yard.

What a shell includes
A shell is the building itself: floor, framed walls, roof, siding, doors, and windows. The inside is left unfinished, so you choose the insulation, walls, electrical, plumbing, and layout. Our tiny home shells guide covers the full planning process.
Shell sizes
Owners finishing a shell usually look at our larger sizes, where there’s room for a living area and more:
| Shell size | A common fit |
|---|---|
| 12×20 | A workbench or storage for a mower, tiller, and seasonal gear |
| 12×32 | A large workshop, home office, cabin shell, or equipment storage |
| 12×40 | A large workshop, home office, cabin shell, or equipment storage |
| 14×20 | A workshop with a bench, or equipment storage |
| 14×40 | A large workshop, home office, cabin shell, or equipment storage |
| 16×20 | A workshop with a bench, or equipment storage |
| 16×32 | A large workshop, home office, cabin shell, or equipment storage |
| 16×36 | A large workshop, home office, cabin shell, or equipment storage |
| 16×40 | A large workshop, home office, cabin shell, or equipment storage |
A lofted barn roofline adds overhead loft space, and a porch model adds a covered porch.

Plan the inside before delivery
- Layout: tape out the kitchen, bath, and sleeping areas at full size.
- Windows and doors: choose 2×3 or 3×3 windows and a 9-lite door for light, placed where your layout needs them.
- Electrical and plumbing: hire licensed professionals for this work.
- Insulation: Texas summers make insulation worth planning early.

Check local rules first
Living in a building, adding plumbing, or connecting to septic usually brings permits and inspections, and the rules differ by city, county, and neighborhood. Some cities don’t allow anyone to live in a backyard building at all. Check with your city or county, and your HOA if you have one, before you buy. Our town pages summarize what each city publishes and link to its official office.
Colors, doors, and windows
Every building comes in 12 colors: Olive Green, Navy Blue, Light Stone, Mahogany, Black, Brown, Charcoal, White, Gray, Barn Red, Sandstone, Burnished Slate. Door options include 36″ solid and 9-lite doors in black or white, and window options include 2×3, 3×3, and 5-lite transom windows. Custom workbenches and shelving can be built in to fit how you’ll use the space.

Is a tiny home shell ready to live in?
No. A shell is finished outside and unfinished inside. Finishing it, and whether it can be lived in, depends on your plans and your local rules.
What’s the biggest shell you build?
Our brochure sizes go up to 16×40, and we can talk through other sizes.
Can I finish it myself?
Many owners do the interior themselves and hire licensed professionals for electrical and plumbing work.
