A portable cabin gives you a covered porch, a finished exterior, and room to make the inside your own, delivered to your land in one piece. Here’s how our cabin and porch models work for hunting land, weekend places, and guest space.

Cabins and porch models

A porch model is a building with a covered front porch built in. It’s the look most people picture when they think of a cabin: a place to sit outside in the evening, with a door into the main room. Owners use them as:

  • Hunting cabins: a dry place to stay and store gear on the lease or family land.
  • Weekend cabins: a getaway on acreage or near a lake.
  • Guest space: a spot for visiting family, finished the way you want.
  • Studios and offices: a porch and a door you can close.

Choosing a size

Cabins usually use our larger sizes so there’s room for the porch and the main room. Our shed sizes guide lists every size, up to 16×40. A lofted style adds overhead loft space for storage or sleeping gear.

Finishing the inside

Cabins can arrive as shells: finished outside, unfinished inside, so you choose the insulation, walls, and layout. If you plan to add electricity, plumbing, or a septic connection, check with your city or county first, because permits and inspections are usually involved. Our tiny home shells guide covers finishing in more detail.

Getting it to your land

Hunting land and acreage often mean long drives, gates, and rough roads. Delivery and setup are included up to 50 miles, and the delivery checklist covers what to check on the route. Need more time to pay? Rent-to-own is available with no credit check.
